This book is a fictional story that portrays how the Ibo society and culture was before and after the British colonists came. This book is a credible source because the author, Chinua Achebe is an Ibo himself and he grew up with the Ibo culture all around him. I used this book mostly for describing what series of events happens in weddings before colonialism occurred.

I used this website to explain the different kinds of marriages the Ibo participate in today and how polygamy plays a role in today's Ibo marriages.

This website is a credible site because the author, Michael Widjaja, is an Ibo himself. He grew up around the Ibo culture and he has written about the Ibo before numerous times. I used this site in my project by using it to describe one positive thing colonialism influenced weddings.

It talked about almost all cultural aspects that were affected by colonialism from crops to weddings. This is a credible site because this website was specifically made to inform people about the women and religion of Africa. This website is also not biased and presents both sides of a topic which is before and after colonialism. I used this website to portray two negative effects of colonialism in the Ibo culture. I also used it to show that a successful farmer marries more wives.
